Looks like Lisa Todd Wexley just met her creative match and maybe her biggest temptation.

Mehcad Brooks has officially entered the And Just Like That universe in Season 3, Episode 4, playing Marion Odin, a celebrated editor who joins Nicole Ari Parker’s character’s documentary project. And from the moment he walks in, it’s clear: this might not just be business.

The show had already teased an “office crush” in the season’s trailer, and now fans are getting a front-row seat to the slow burn. Brooks’ character, Marion, is charming, accomplished, and just the right amount of danger for a woman who seemingly has it all, including a husband (Christopher Jackson).

“They begin to find a mutual attraction towards each other [even though] they’re both married, and that is obviously an issue,” Brooks said in an interview with The Wrap. “They do this acrobatic sort of dance, and on this tightrope of learning more about each other. They have mutual respect for each other, but also this undeniable attraction.”

Parker, for her part, isn’t hiding how compelling this new dynamic is. “Mehcad on sight, he is just a chunk of deliciousness,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “No disrespect to my husband [Boris Kodjoe], who is a mountain of deliciousness.”

She went on to add, “It’s the full entrance, the full shebang, there’s no denying it. This is going to be a problem.”

Whether or not Marion and Lisa cross the line, one thing’s for sure: this “office crush” dynamic will be interesting.
