  • Introducing Fashion Editor Mickey Boooom

Mickey Boooom was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His instinctual creative flair has had very early beginnings and there’s no ending in sight. The juxtaposition of growing up in a rough environment, coupled with his attention commanding personal style, created some internal turmoil early on. Though well-liked, the frustration of feeling like he didn’t belong gave birth to his need to make the world more beautiful, which is as strong as his need to breathe air. There are many facets to his sartorial expertise, however, for the past three years he has primarily been a wardrobe stylist for men and women who are in search of an innovative intervention, as he playfully calls it. Spearheading visual schematics for models, artists and other intriguing people enables him to convey his view of the way the world should be, could be, or would be, without burdening viewers and clients with the weight of reality. Mickey Boooom is heavily inspired by history, but driven by the future. Growing up, he has always been inspired by 1990s fashion, movies, and musicans like Lil Kim, Foxy Brown, and the late The Notorious BIG. He was also inspired by post-war fashion movements. His favorite fashion designers are ones that embodied the Belle Epoque we call “the 90’s” like Gianni Versace, John Galliano and Jean Paul Gaultier. While most of his time is spent in New York City, he does make time for traveling. Being an avid traveler, Mickey Booom has traveled around the world and has experienced many different cultures. “There is always an air of obscurity when I refer to anything that might inspire me” He says. This allows him to easily incorporate fresh new ideas into his work. He uses various social outlets online to display some of his work while interacting with other creative people. You can find him on Instagram @Mickeybooom and VFiles. As the Fashion Editor of The Quintessential Gentleman he will keep you up to date with the new and up-and-coming fashion trends, fashion shows, fashion events, fashion styling, history, shopping, and other exciting fashion news. His Styled By Mickey page will serve as a heavy influence on men’s fashion, assistance helping to give a name to up-and-coming fashionistos as well as bringing retired fashionistos back to life. Each and every Friday, we will have our very own, Quintessential Friday, which is a new platform on our blog. Quintessential Friday was not only created to help promote people who are in the Fashion & Entertainment industry but it was ultimately created to showcase and highlight artists, entrepreneurs, and acts whom we feel are exceptional in their respective areas of the industry. Make sure you stay current on everything Fashion with Mickey Boooom! The Quintessential Gentleman #Fashion #StyledByMickey #TheQuintessentialGentleman

  • Position Available: 1600 Pennsylvania Ave NW, Washington, DC

Hillary Rodham Clinton and Donald Trump became victorious against their competitors, each with 7 State Wins. Presidential Nominee Clinton won Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Massachusetts, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia. Presidential Nominee Trump won Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Massachusetts, Tennessee, Vermont and Virginia. By looking at the states that both winners share in victories you can see that this will be a very critical election. Many may dislike Donald Trump for his outspoken personality and some may say unruly comments but the truth is that there are a lot of people who agree with him and are out there supporting him. There has yet to be a speaking engagement hosted by Trump that he has hosts that there was not a packed house. Hillary Clinton may seem to most to be the favorable candidate due to her affiliation with the current White House Cabinet but it will be a long way to November! This election, like every election in the 21st century, will need everyone to go to the polls to vote! • Mitchell Jones Celebrates his Journey During ATL Book Signing

On February 24, Pastor Mitchell Jones celebrated a new chapter in his own personal journey to becoming his true self. He was joined by friends and fans during an intimate sit down with T’Marie (It’s T’Marie Radio) for the official book launch of “The Journey to Authenticity: 8 Steps to getting the life you Desire”. You may remember Pastor Mitchell Jones from one of the most groundbreaking episodes of “Iyanla: Fix My Life” on OWN tv. The emotional, three-part episode, focused on the coming-out stories of two gay pastors. After the show he took bold steps toward confronting and confessing the truth after years of keeping secrets. Mitchell was inspired to write “The Journey to Authenticity” as he realized that the journey to authenticity and freedom was costly, yet worth it. He wanted to communicate that message and the process to many that were following a similar path. This book will help any person that recognizes the need to move toward authenticity to become all that they are to be in the Earth, but are challenged by situations and circumstances that make it appear easier to remain average. Guests mixed and mingled through the evening while sipping on personalized cocktails from Mitchell Jones like “Get Yo Life”,” Heart’s Desire” and “Preacha Man“. Guests also had the chance to cherish moments from the evening with keepsakes from Say Cheese Atlanta who kept the photo booth experience live throughout the evening. Mitchell Signed copies, thanked people for supporting his journey while wishing everyone much success on their own personal journey. • Flying with Lufthansa

On a recent flight to Italy I had the pleasure of flying with Lufthansa Airlines. From the moment I first entered the aircraft, I knew it was something different but was completely surprised by everything the airline had to offer. This was my second time flying internationally but my first time flying with Lufthansa Airlines. See I travel quite often in the states and usually its the same across most airlines; bumpy ride, 0ver charged baggage fees, tight space and no comfort. But when I stepped into Lufthansa’s plane it looked as if the airplane only had executive passengers. The customer service was spectacular and the feel of the economy seating was superb. To start off I’ve never been on a flight where they offered you Wet Towels. Now that I think about it, I never used any type of sanitation methods while on a plane and I can only imagine how dirty airplanes are with all the people that pass through day after day. Now after you have properly removed the dirt from your hands, you are asked if you would like a drink. The complimentary assortment of Alcoholic beverages included red and white wines, Finlandia Vodka, Dewars Whiskey and more. Now that they got you feeling nice, you really can enjoy the spacious and comfortable seating. The room that I had for my legs and the length that I could recline my chair was a passengers dream! Having a late flight gave us the opportunity to be served dinner. Their Chili chicken and rice dinner was so good I checked to see if there was a chef in the back. The complete spread consisted of salad, entree and dessert which was more than enough to fill your appetite! Just when you thought the Lufthansa experience was over the lovely ladies came down the aisle asking if you would like bourbon or baileys! This was superb airline and an even more amazing experience. I would recommend Lufthansa to anyone looking to fly overseas! The Quintessential Gentleman #TheQuintessentialGentleman #Lufthansa #Airline #Italy #Travel #Germany
