The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has officially unveiled its Walk of Fame Class of 2027, and the newly announced lineup is packed with heavy hitters. Among the standout honorees cementing their legacy on Tinseltown’s most famous sidewalk are hip-hop pioneer Joseph “Grandmaster Flash” Saddler, rap icon Lil Wayne and Joseph Saddler (Grandmaster Flash), screen powerhouses Idris Elba and Delroy Lindo, comedy and TV staple David Alan Grier, and multimedia powerhouse Charlamagne Tha God.

The announcement was revealed live from Funko Hollywood in Los Angeles by fellow Walk of Famers Ming-Na Wen and Sheila E., alongside Hollywood Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Ron Frierson. Chosen from hundreds of nominations across motion pictures, television, music, radio, live performance, and sports entertainment, the 32-person class highlights a vibrant mix of trailblazers and culture shifters.

Each of these celebrated figures has left an undeniable mark on their respective craft. In the motion picture category, Idris Elba brings his commanding presence from major action blockbusters and gritty dramas alongside veteran actor Delroy Lindo, whose legendary decades-long career includes unforgettable performances in Da 5 Bloods, Malcolm X, and The Good Fight.

Over in television, master of comedy David Alan Grier earns recognition after decades as a beloved screen fixture, spanning from his star-making days on In Living Color to an endless string of hit TV roles and Broadway appearances.

Hip-hop founding father Joseph “Grandmaster Flash” Saddler, the DJ innovator who revolutionized mixing and turntable techniques, earns his star alongside Dwayne “Lil Wayne” Carter Jr., one of hip-hop’s most influential artists, who solidified his place in music history through a quarter-century of multi-platinum records and groundbreaking mixtapes.

Completing the group, Lenard “Charlamagne tha God” McKelvey earns his star in the radio category for redefining modern talk radio and cultural commentary as the outspoken co-host of the globally syndicated show The Breakfast Club.

“These 32 extraordinary individuals have each made a lasting impact on audiences around the world through their talent, creativity, and dedication to their craft,” said Walk of Fame Selection Chairman Peter Roth in a statement. “We are honored to recognize their remarkable contributions and look forward to celebrating them as they take their place in Hollywood history.”

The full 2027 class also includes stars like Pedro Pascal, Lisa Kudrow, Keke Palmer, Karol G, Linkin Park, and Raven Symone.
