New York Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton and Olympic heptathlete Anna Hall have officially tied the knot. The sports power couple celebrated their union on April 11, surrounded by family, friends, and loved ones in a grand ceremony at the historic Oheka Castle on Long Island’s Gold Coast.
Their romance started with a simple social media follow. Slayton first caught a glimpse of Hall competing on television and, struck by her talent, decided to follow her on Instagram. The digital connection turned into reality in 2024 when Slayton, who was in New Jersey for physical therapy, decided to surprise Hall at her track meet in New York on his day off.
He recorded one of her jumps, texted it to her with a quick “Good job!”, and then introduced himself properly before asking her out.

The connection was instant. After dating for just over a year, Slayton brought everything full circle in November 2025 by proposing to Hall at New York’s Icahn Stadium, the very same track where they had their surprise first meeting.
The ceremony leaned heavily into tradition, faith, and community. It kicked off with a soul-stirring hymn led by gospel singer Jekalyn Carr, setting an emotional and spiritual tone as guests joined in to sing along. The couple’s officiant, family friend Andre Levrone, made the moment even more intimate by asking the attendees to verbally commit to supporting the couple’s marriage.
After exchanging vows and rings, the newlyweds stole a quiet, private moment in the castle’s library to soak it all in before joining their guests for the reception.
Congratulations to the happy couple!
