We are getting closer and closer to the truth. If you’ve been watching From from the beginning, you know the routine: with each episode and each season, we have continued to get more questions than we get answers. However, as the show has officially been renewed for its final season, we are finally closer to getting all the answers we are looking for.
Just days ahead of its Season 4 premiere on April 19, MGM+ has renewed the grueling, mind-bending series for its fifth and final season. The hit horror-thriller, starring Harold Perrineau, is currently the most-viewed series in the history of the MGM+ network.
Created by John Griffin and executive produced alongside showrunner Jeff Pinkner and director Jack Bender, the series follows the trapped residents of a nightmarish town that refuses to let anyone leave. In a joint statement, the creative team expressed their enthusiasm for being able to wrap up the show’s complex mythology on their own terms.
“We are wildly excited to announce that we’ve officially begun work on season 5,” the trio shared. “Which means we will get the chance to see our story to its conclusion. Which means questions will be answered. Answers will be questioned. And there will surely be a cascade of tears and terrors in-between.”
They also expressed immense gratitude for the dedicated fan base, affectionately known as the “FROMily,” and the ongoing support from their partners at MGM+.
While fans are just now gearing up to dive into the terrors of Season 4, the wheels are already turning for the show’s grand finale. Production for the fifth season is scheduled to kick off later this year in Halifax, Nova Scotia, with an expected premiere in 2027.
