Beanie Sigel is fully embracing his era as a culinary boss. While hip-hop heads know the Broad Street Bully for his legendary catalog and Roc-A-Fella dominance, Philadelphia locals are getting to know him for his rapidly growing food empire.
After finding success with his previous culinary ventures, which include launching a bagel business and running popular halal food trucks, the rapper is taking his portfolio to the next level.
Sigel recently announced he is entering the brick-and-mortar restaurant space through an official partnership with the beloved local staple, Santucci Original Square Pizza.
Sigel will be opening the doors to his very own Santucci’s restaurant in Philly on May 1.
Santucci’s is officially landing in University City, and the team is shutting down the block for a massive grand opening bash. Sigel, stepping into his new role as a pizza mogul, will be front and center to celebrate the new square pizza spot with the community.
Taking to Instagram to hype up the event, Sigel told his followers, “You’re not gonna want to miss this‼️” and sealed the invite with a classic, “Forget about it 🤌🏼.”
If you are in the Philly area, this is going to be a community celebration on Lancaster Avenue. The full-blown block party is set to kick off on May 1st at 12:00 PM and will run all the way until close at 3700 Lancaster Ave. (Retail Space 1) in Philadelphia.
The event will feature a lively atmosphere, VIP guests, and a live DJ set by Williams Event Group to keep the energy high. As a special treat for those coming out to support, attendees will get their first slice of Santucci’s famous square pizza completely on the house, provided they grab one while supplies last.
Keeping the community energy going strong, you can expect pop-ups from local favorite vendors, including Fred’s Water Ice and Candy Gyrl, making it a perfect afternoon of great food, music, and local culture.
