Get ready for another season of nostalgia, music history, and storytelling as Paramount+ brings back the hit docuseries Family Legacy for a Season 2, premiering March 25.
This music-focused documentary series gives fans a never-before-seen perspective on some of the biggest names in music history—but through the eyes of their children. Season 1 featured Nathan Morris II, son of Boyz II Men’s Nathan Morris, and Tron Austin, son of TLC’s Chilli, sharing personal memories, behind-the-scenes stories, and rare footage from the careers of their legendary parents.
Season 2 will dive even deeper into the personal and professional legacies of music’s biggest superstars, featuring brand-new interviews with the children of artists who helped define multiple generations of music.
The upcoming season will feature intimate accounts from the families of Wu-Tang Clan, Salt-N-Pepa, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Lil Wayne, DMX, Busta Rhymes, Wyclef Jean, The Go-Go’s, TLC, D’Angelo, Ginuwine, Slipknot, Korn, Lil Jon, Daddy Yankee, Matchbox 20, Jam Master Jay, Ja Rule and Teddy Riley.
Unlike traditional music documentaries, Family Legacy does not just focus on chart-topping hits and sold-out tours. Instead, it provides an intimate glimpse into family life, highlighting the impact of fame on the artists’ children.
With 10 half-hour episodes, Season 2 will deliver more unforgettable moments, behind-the-scenes access, and never-before-told stories about some of the most influential artists in music history.
Family Legacy Season 2 will exclusively premiere on Paramount+ starting March 25. Check out the trailer.
