Billionaire Byron Allen has just made real estate history in New York City, selling his ultra-luxurious Billionaire’s Row condo for a staggering $82.5 million. The deal, finalized in an off-market transaction, marks the biggest real estate sale in NYC for 2025 so far, according to reports from The Wall Street Journal.

Allen, who originally purchased the full-floor residence at 220 Central Park South for $75 million in 2023, walks away with a healthy profit from the deal.

This sale represents the largest transaction in the city this year, according to real estate expert Jonathan Miller of Miller Samuel, though it still falls short of the $238 million record set by hedge fund billionaire Ken Griffin in 2019—inside this very same building.

With its unmatched views of Central Park, lavish interiors, and exclusive status, 220 Central Park South remains one of the most coveted addresses in the world, drawing high-profile billionaires and celebrities alike.

Allen’s former five-bedroom, seven-bathroom residence offers unparalleled luxury, boasting breathtaking panoramic views of Central Park. The home features a primary suite with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, while three additional bedrooms are situated on the opposite side of the unit. A gourmet kitchen and grand dining room provide the perfect space for entertaining, complemented by a private library and a wine room for added sophistication.

The residence also includes two spacious balconies, offering a seamless blend of indoor and outdoor elegance. Every inch of the apartment was meticulously designed for luxury and exclusivity.
