Aaron Pierre Is A Former Marine Who Is Harassed By the Police In Netflix’s ‘Rebel Ridge

Netflix has released the trailer for the upcoming action thriller, Rebel Ridge.

Rebel Ridge - Aaron Pierre

The story follows Terry Richmond, played by Aaron Pierre, a former Marine who is harassed by the local police force. Due to unfair civil asset forfeiture laws, the police confiscated all his savings, which were meant to bail out his cousin.

“You can fight for the money,” Summer McBride, a court clerk, informs him, “But that’ll take most of a year and cost you twice what you’re owed.” With no other options, Richmond and McBride team up to take down the corrupt police chief and his entire department, but the cops won’t let the money go without a fight. What ensues is a battle between justice and those who abuse the power entrusted to them.
