You’ve all heard the saying “on Sundays, we brunch!” Recently, brunch has become one of the most sought activities that people love to engage in. Whether you go on a Saturday or the most famous day Sunday, it’s a festive time to hang out and vibe with family and friends. A trend that many have been partaking in is hosting brunch right in the comfort of their home. It may be for an anniversary, birthday, or any kind of event worth celebrating. With brunch, you definitely need those boozy brunch cocktails, so here are five of the top drinks you can make right in your home for brunch.
Cherry Mimosa

Ingredients
1 c. pineapple juice
¼ c. maraschino cherry juice (from the jar of cherries)
1 bottle champagne
Orange slices, for garnish
In champagne flutes, combine pineapple juice and maraschino cherry juice. Top off with champagne and garnish with an orange slice.

Good Morning Mango Mary Cocktail

Ingredients
1 mango, peeled, chopped
50g yellow tomatoes
1/3 cup (80ml) vodka
Juice of 2 limes
Pinch of celery salt
1/2 tsp Tabasco, plus extra to serve (optional)
3 ice cubes, plus extra to serve
Yellow pickled chilies
Celery stalks, to serve
Combine all ingredients with 1/3 cup (80ml) chilled water and a pinch of salt flakes in a blender and whiz until smooth. Divide extra ice among tall glasses and pour over cocktails. Thread pickled chilies onto a skewer and place them on top of the cocktail. Add a celery stalk, drizzle with extra Tabasco, if using, and scatter with a pinch of freshly ground black pepper.

Pink Grapefruit Gin Spritz

Ingredients
2 tbs (40ml) gin
2 tbs (40ml) Campari
1/3 cup (80ml) prosecco
200ml sparkling grapefruit soda
Grapefruit slices, to serve
Fill a spritz glass with crushed ice. Combine gin, Campari and prosecco in the glass. Top with soda and grapefruit to serve.

Raspberry Lime Champagne Punch

Ingredients
⅓ cup sugar
⅓ cup water
¾ cup lime juice, preferably freshly squeezed
½ cup vodka
2 cups tonic water
2 cups raspberries
1 lime, sliced
1 bottle Champagne or sparkling white wine
In a small pot, bring the sugar and water to a boil over medium heat. Stir to make sure the sugar dissolves. Let cool to room temperature. In a large pitcher, stir the cooled simple syrup with the lime juice, vodka and tonic water to combine. Stir in the raspberries and lime slices. Just before you’re ready to serve, add the Champagne. Serve chilled.

Pineapple Strawberry Mimosa

Ingredients
12 Fresh strawberries medium in size
2-3 cups of Pineapple juice
750 mL bottle of champagne or prosecco chilled
Fresh pineapple or strawberry for garnish optional
Wash the strawberries and remove the stems. Add 2 fresh strawberries to the bottom of a champagne flute and “muddle” (gently smash into the bottom of the glass). Pour in Champagne or Prosecco until the glass is about 2/3 full. Top with the desired amount of pineapple juice.
Garnish with a fresh slice of pineapple or strawberry.
