From the Best New Artist, all the way to the prestigious Album of the Year, the Grammys is an event that you strive and work hard to be a part of.

Last night, the 64th annual Grammy Awards took place in fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada. Stars from all over the country came to witness the iconic fashion styles and take part in the festivities.

What stands out to us is the way Black men shined through the night. We saw Lil Nas X once again make a bold statement about who is he is with a blazing performance of Call Me By Your Name and Industry Baby.

We saw a hip-hop legend Nas take us back with some of his top hits such as Made You Look and One Mic.

But, of course, the highlights of the night are the Black male winners who took home the prestigious golden gramophone trophy. Just to point out a few moments of Black male history last night, Kanye “Ye” West took home the Best Rap Song award for his song Jail alongside Jay-Z. This win for Ye broke the record for Jay-Z having the most wins as a rapper. He and Ye are now tied with 24 wins in Grammy history.
