Epic Day of Golf Tournament Brings Out Sports Legends and Industry Elite

Epic Sports & Entertainment Group Events hosted its Annual Celebrity Golf Tournament bringing out Sports Industry Elite from current to former Professional Athletes, High-Level Business Executives and Top Financial Personnel at the exclusive Manhattan Woods Golf Club.

The invite only two-day event kicked off with a Pairings Cocktail Reception in partnership with Tanqueray & Zacapa Rum at Blade Lounge, which provided helicopter transport to Epic guests and VIP’s. The following day, Sports Legends and Celebrity guests gathered from around the country to tee off, playing an 18-hole scramble in a picturesque backdrop overlooking the New York City skyline.

Epic brought out a number of High Level Financial Partners and Friends. Celebrity participants included 5x NBA Champion Ron Harper, Super Bowl XLII Champion Plaxico Burress, Super Bowl XL Champion Jerome “The Bus” Bettis, NHL Legend Jeremy Roenick, 2x NBA All-Star Larry Johnson, Actor John O’Hurley, 5x MLB Star Andruw Jones, Retired NFL Star Lee Evans, Retired NBA Star Wally Szczerbiak, Retired NBA Star Herb Williams, Actor Gary Valentine, Greg Anthony, Dancing With the Stars favorite Tony Dolvani, NFL Star Chris Canty, New York Giants players Orleans Darkwa, Paul Perkins and more.

Epic Day of Golf guests enjoyed Luxurious Views, Gourmet Cuisine provided by Manhattan Woods Club and Signature Cocktails, which were provided by premium liqueurs Zacapa Rum and Tanqueray Gin throughout the tournament. As participants arrived, they were gifted with a variety of luxury brands and sportswear. Epics goal was to create a unique yet engaging experience for guests to enjoy. And, everyone remained in great spirits throughout the day with the help of perfect weather. The awards ceremony closed the event with another gourmet feast, sponsored cocktail hour and silent auction that displayed some very unique sports memorabilia and coveted limited edition items.
