Chris Bosh’s NBA Future in Serious Jeopardy

There is another setback for an NBA All-Star in Miami.

According to USA Today, Heat forward Chris Bosh has failed his physical due to blood clots in his chest, forcing the Heat to not clear him for the upcoming training camp. And, according to sources close to the Heat situation, will cast serious doubt on his playing future, unfortunately.

The last two years Bosh’s season has come to a premature close because of blood clots. The Miami Herald is reporting his most recent episode, of course, has to do with his blood clots in the last two seasons.

The Heat released an official statement pertaining to Bosh’s situation:

“The Miami Heat and Chris Bosh, in consultation with team doctors and other physicians, have been working together for many months with the mutual goal of having Chris return to the court as soon as possible,” the Heat said in the statement. “Chris has now taken his pre-season physical. The Miami Heat regret that it remains unable to clear Chris to return to basketball activities, and there is no timetable for his return.”

The 11-time all-star has made several remarks, saying “nothing will keep him off the court this season.” Former teammate Dwyane Wade, now a member of the Chicago Bulls, said it’s very important for Bosh to put his family first, despite his willingness to return to the NBA.

Media day is on Monday, and training camp starts on Tuesday in the Bahamas, too. Bosh, who   joined LeBron James and Wade to win multiple championships in 2010, is due $76 million in the final three seasons of his contract.

Personally, it’s hard to see Bosh like this, as the man was a key player in the Heat’s championships in 2012 and 2013. He is an unconventional big man who could face up, have his back to the basket and could hit the three-pointer, even in clutch situations. Truthfully, he opened up the floor for LeBron and Wade.

Let’s hope Bosh returns. He has career averages of 19.2 points, 8.5 rebounds and 2.4 assists. Something tells me that Bosh haters feel incredibly sick to their stomach for making fun of Bosh all these years—as they should. A few words for Bosh haters: shut it all the way up.
