Get ready for the ultimate getaway gone wrong! Power Book II: Ghost star Woody McClain is officially heading to South Africa, Deadline reports. He is the latest addition to the star-studded cast of Boyz Trip, an upcoming action-comedy that is currently filming in Cape Town.

McClain joins an ensemble led by Rome Flynn, Algee Smith, Desi Banks, and South African actor Siv Ngesi.

However, McClain isn’t the only new face packing his bags for the project. The film has also recently added Osas Ighodaro (Tinsel), Hakeem Kae-Kazim (Hotel Rwanda), record producer and songwriter Honorable C.N.O.T.E., and Peter Lee (Invasion) to the call sheet.

They will star alongside an international roster that includes Ama Qamata, Thapelo Mokoena, Bohang Moeko, Ama K. Abebrese, Alessandra Fuller, and Francisca Aronsson.

Directed by Kyle Scott, Boyz Trip follows a group of four college friends who have grown tired of their usual annual meet-ups. Looking to shake things up, they embark on a boys’ getaway that quickly spirals into full-blown international chaos. To make it out alive, the crew will be forced to rely on their old bonds, a set of questionable skills, and a whole lot of pure luck.

Scott, who also penned the story, is serving as an executive producer for KeyScott Entertainment alongside Canyon View Media. Autumn Bailey-Ford is producing under her banner, Autumn Bailey Entertainment. Additionally, Emmy-nominated composers Kareem James and Marcus Ash have been tapped to provide the score.
