Ryan Murphy is returning to FX with another high-stakes, genre-bending spectacle, this time diving into the glamorous and dangerous world of high fashion. The Beauty, Murphy’s newest scripted series, has officially set its premiere date for January 21, 2026, arriving on FX and Hulu in the U.S. and Disney+ internationally.
And with Jeremy Pope and Anthony Ramos at the center of the chaos, this one is already shaping up to be one of 2026’s most anticipated TV events.
The premise is classic Murphy: beautiful, seductive, and disturbing.
The Beauty follows a wave of gruesome and mysterious deaths among international supermodels, sending FBI Agents Cooper Madsen (Evan Peters) and Jordan Bennett (Rebecca Hall) to Paris to uncover the truth. What they find is far beyond a crime spree.
They discover a sexually transmitted virus that transforms people into physically “perfect” versions of themselves at a horrifying cost.
Their investigation exposes The Corporation, a trillion-dollar empire led by a reclusive tech billionaire played by Ashton Kutcher, who has engineered a miracle drug nicknamed The Beauty. It’s a drug capable of reshaping humanity, and one he’ll protect at any cost.
Pope stars as Jeremy, a struggling outsider who finds himself swept into the global crisis, searching for identity and purpose as the world around him unravels.
Ramos joins the series as The Assassin, the Corporation’s lethal enforcer, tasked with eliminating anyone who threatens the empire’s secrets.
The Beauty premieres January 21, 2026, on FX.
