Love, legacy and a whole lot of life in between. Nelly and Ashanti are opening their doors again, as Nelly and Ashanti: We Belong Together returns for a second season on Thursday, November 19, with all eight episodes dropping at once.

The new season picks up with the music power couple balancing marriage, family and two demanding careers while they take control of the legacy they’ve spent decades building.

For Ashanti, that means juggling motherhood with a schedule that would wear anyone down. She’s still performing, splitting her life between St. Louis and New York City, and recording new music with some of the industry’s hottest artists. She’s also re-recording her debut album so she can own her masters, a move that puts her in conversation with a growing number of artists who are fighting to own the work that made them famous.

Through it all, she makes time for the girlfriends who keep her grounded.

Nelly, meanwhile, is facing a reality every performer eventually has to confront. After years of nonstop touring, he reflects on the physical toll the road is taking on him at this stage of his life. An unexpected family loss also puts things in perspective and reminds him what matters most.

Between raising their son, honoring the village that helped get them here and planning what comes next, the season finds the couple learning that belonging together isn’t about standing still. It’s about building a future on their own terms.

Season one is now streaming exclusively on Peacock. Check out the trailer.
