Romeo Miller had one of the most meaningful Father’s Days of his life and he shared every moment of it with the world. The rapper, actor, and entrepreneur, son of hip-hop legend Master P, marked the holiday by getting rebaptized at Higher Dimension Church down south alongside his daughters River Rose and Winter Snoh, a moment he described as nothing short of transformative.
Miller took to Instagram to share the experience with his followers in a caption.
“The closer I got to God, the further I realized I was,” he wrote. “Getting rebaptized back home down south as an adult alongside my daughters was an ethereal experience — a true Father’s Day gift that I will never forget.”
For Miller, the baptism wasn’t just a spiritual milestone; it was the release of something he’d been carrying for years. He spoke about the tendency to delay transformation until everything feels ready, and the revelation that waiting for perfection was the very thing keeping him from it.
“It took me 36 years of reading the Bible to realize that Jesus doesn’t want us to be perfect; He just wants us to be NEW,” he wrote. “I delayed this moment thinking I had to fix everything first, but the moment I submitted and rose from that water, chains that I thought would take years to break were shattered instantly.”
The message he says he received was anchored in Proverbs 3:5-6. “JUST LET GO,” he wrote. “Any day before this baptism was the old me. Doing things our own way never adds up. True transformation starts when you stop listening to the world and prioritize your relationship with the one who chooses you over and over, flaws and all, and that’s GOD.”
Miller has two daughters, River Rose, born in February 2022, and Winter Snoh, born in March 2023, both with his partner Drew Sangster. The girl dad energy that has defined his public identity in recent years was on full display in the baptism post, as he credited his daughters with giving him the gift of the moment itself. “What a gift from my girls,” he wrote. “Every storm isn’t meant to ruin you; some are meant to rinse and redirect you.”
