On February 23rd. 2017, The Moguls in Media Tour made its first stop in New York City at WE WORK Bryant Park. Founded by Sheen Magazine correspondent, Darcel Laurie, the Moguls in Media event is a platform for established Journalists, TV/Radio Personalities, Writers, Photographers, Entrepreneurs, Stylists, etc… to come together and empower women who are on the rise in the industry. Panelists included celebrity hairstylist Tiffany Lamb, author Gillian Alex, Hustlepreneur Jacques Bastien, Essence Magazine contributor Brittney Oliver, and Selena Hill of Black Enterprise Magazine. Panelists put together a roundtable discussion with tools, tips, and inspiration that will propel attendees to make the changes they need to be successful in the industry as well as in life.
Attendees had the opportunity to explore a variety of topics that will not only impact their individual performance, but also understand the impact to the industry as a whole.
