Meek Mill, Kevin Hart, Michael Rubin Donate $7M to Low-income Students in Philly

Meek Mill and Kevin Hart have not forgotten where they came from as they continue to pour into their hometown, the city of brotherly love.

Mill, Hart and Michael Rubin, Fanatics CEO and REFORM Alliance Co-Chair, recently announced their giveback collaboration to the local Philadelphia community with a collective $7 million donation to 60 private and parochial schools in need, serving low-income students from underserved families with scholarships for the 2023-2024 academic year at schools in and around Philadelphia. The funds will also provide access to much-needed at-home technology, including laptops, tablets and WiFi connection.

This $7 million donation marks the latest addition to Mill and Rubin’s ongoing commitment to give back to communities in need which has culminated in a total of $17 million in donations across previous years.

This announcement comes on the heels of powerful giveback efforts and initiatives hosted by REFORM at the end of 2022. Last month, Mill paid the bail for 20 women who were unable to afford bail so they could spend the holiday season with their families and loved ones. Additionally, Rubin and Mill partnered with REFORM Alliance, the Philadelphia Eagles and the 76ers for the annual return of the Season of Giving event - a special VIP experience for more than 30 children who have been negatively impacted by the criminal justice system and unjust probations.

We love seeing the community efforts of Philadelphia natives and the REFORM Alliance.
