The story of Secret Service Agent Xavier Collins is coming to an end. Creator and showrunner Dan Fogelman confirmed that production on Season 3 of Hulu’s political thriller Paradise has officially wrapped, and it will serve as the show’s final season.
Fogelman shared the news on social media alongside photos with lead star Sterling K. Brown and the cast in Washington, D.C. “Finishing where it fictionally started. That’s an official series wrap on Paradise,” he wrote on Instagram. “Can’t wait to share S3 with everyone. I’ll miss this show and the people who made it. Until the next one…”
From the beginning, Fogelman envisioned Paradise as a three-season story, tightly constructed and designed to end on his own terms. The series follows Agent Collins, played by Brown, as he investigates the sudden murder of former President Cal Bradford, played by James Marsden, inside a high-security enclave. It has built a reputation for high-stakes twists, fast turnaround times, and layered mysteries that keep audiences guessing.
Viewers with lingering questions from the first two seasons won’t have to wait long for answers. Executive producer and writer John Hoberg assured fans that the final season was designed with complete closure in mind. “We’ll answer it because we are ending at the end of Season 3, and I promise that we will answer every question I believe you have,” he said.
Alongside Brown and Marsden, returning cast members include Sarah Shahi, Julianne Nicholson, Nicole Brydon Bloom, Krys Marshall, and Jon Beavers. Season 3 also brings in Julianna Margulies, Elijah Wood, and Melissa Benoist.
Hulu has not yet announced a release date for the final season. The first two seasons are currently streaming exclusively on Hulu.
