'P-Valley' Returns in December for Its Final Season, Drops New Teaser

STARZ has officially dropped the teaser for the highly anticipated third season of P-Valley, confirming that the acclaimed drama will lower its curtain for good after this final installment. The doors to The Pynk are opening one last time.

The final, nine-episode season will kick off with a special two-episode premiere on December 4 on STARZ, more than four years after Season 2 wrapped in August 2022.

The newly released teaser, set to Lil’ Murda’s new single Homegrown, promises a conclusion filled with the same energy, high stakes, and emotional weight that fans have come to expect from the deeply immersive world of Chucalissa, Mississippi.

According to the season’s official logline, the newly opened Promised Land Casino floods Chucalissa with cash, and the show’s hometown heroes learn that mo’ money does indeed bring mo’ mayhem, as dreamers, schemers, ballers, and shot-callers alike come from far and wide for a dance with chance, though not everyone will be willing to put their soul on the line for a legendary bag.

For creator and executive producer Katori Hall, concluding the series with Season 3 was an intentional, empowering creative choice. In a letter addressed to the show’s dedicated fanbase, she explained the importance of finishing the story exactly as she envisioned it.

“There comes a moment when every stripper must hang up her heels. Seventeen years into this dance, that time has come,” Hall shared. “The rarest honor a showrunner can have in today’s industry is to end a series on her own terms. This is why I chose to say goodbye with grace, grit and glitter, lowering the curtain on P-VALLEY at Season 3 with a farewell y’all truly deserve.” She added that she hopes the audience, which she warmly refers to as a “framily,” will celebrate the journey and feel changed by the experience of sharing in this unique community together.
