Netflix’s Untold returns with new episodes on college star Vince Young, viral dancer Raygun, and icon Mr. T.
Untold - Mr. T and Vince Young

Netflix’s critically acclaimed sports documentary Untold is stepping back into the ring with a fresh lineup of wild, head-turning stories. The platform has revealed three brand-new standalone installments set to roll out weekly starting late August.

Created by filmmakers Chapman Way and Maclain Way, Untold has built a reputation for giving sports icons and pop culture lightning rods a platform to tell their side of the story in their own words. This upcoming slate tackles three distinct figures: college football legend Vince Young, viral 2024 Olympic breakdancer Rachael “Raygun” Gunn, and pop culture powerhouse Mr. T.

1. Untold: The Testimony of Vince Young (Aug. 25)

The new run kicks off with the story of Texas Longhorns legend Vince Young. After delivering one of the most legendary performances in college football history at the 2006 Rose Bowl, Young entered the NFL with massive expectations as the Texas Titans’ top-tier quarterback prospect.

Directed by John Henion, The Testimony of Vince Young explores how a career filled with early promise gave way to nagging injuries, public conflicts, and sudden personal losses. The documentary promises an intimate look at the human cost behind the highlight reels.

2. Untold Raygun: Breaking Badly (Sept. 1)

Perhaps the most talked-about subject of the batch, Australian breakdancer Rachael “Raygun” Gunn became an overnight global sensation during the 2024 Paris Olympics, though not entirely for the reasons she hoped.

Directed by series creators Chapman and Maclain Way, Breaking Badly investigates the aftermath of Raygun’s viral routine, tracing the flood of internet memes, conspiracy theories, and public scrutiny that followed her performance. The film examines how an academic-turned-athlete found herself at the center of one of the biggest viral media storms in Olympic history.

3. Untold Mr. T: I Pity The Fool (Sept. 8)

Rounding out the trilogy is a deep dive into the life of Laurence Tureaud, better known to the world as Mr. T.

Directed by Scott Weintrob, I Pity The Fool steps past the iconic gold chains, leather vests, and signature mohawk from The A-Team and Rocky III to examine his unlikely journey. The episode focuses on his early life growing up in Chicago, his time working as a celebrity bodyguard, and the personal resilience that transformed him into an enduring 1980s pop culture icon.
