The Creed universe isn’t slowing down; it’s expanding. And according to Michael B. Jordan, the next major chapter belongs to a new fighter: Adonis Creed’s daughter, Amara.
During an interview on the Variety Awards Circuit Podcast, Jordan opened up about the future of the franchise and confirmed two things fans have been waiting to hear:
Creed IV is still happening, and Prime Video’s upcoming TV adaptation will follow Amara Creed’s story.
Jordan made it clear he still has more to give to the franchise, even if he isn’t planning to stay in the ring forever.
“Eventually, definitely,” Jordan said when asked about Creed IV. “It’s a franchise that’s been really kind to me in a big way… I think there’s a bit more story to be mined through that.”
He added that while he doesn’t plan to keep boxing on-screen for another 15 years, he’s excited about the characters and new storylines that can carry the franchise forward.
“I still might be able to get a couple of really good swings at the franchise a bit more,” he shared.
Jordan also confirmed that the first major extension of the Creed-Verse is already in motion: a Prime Video series centered on Amara Creed, Adonis and Bianca’s daughter, introduced as a young fighter with big potential in Creed III.
“We’re spinning off doing Adonis’ daughter, Amara’s story, the television show that’s picked up at Amazon,” Jordan revealed.
This new series marks the first time the franchise will shift its focus to the next generation. While plot details are under wraps, the show is expected to follow Amara’s coming-of-age journey, her training, her path inside and outside the ring.
Fans already saw sparks of her fighting spirit in Creed III, and the series will explore her world more deeply, including the dynamics of growing up in a legendary boxing family.
Jordan emphasized that he isn’t leaving the universe he helped build. Instead, he’s transitioning into a guiding force behind the scenes while allowing new characters to take the spotlight.
“You’ll be seeing different parts of the Creed-verse,” he said. “These little IPs are going to keep the universe alive without it being completely reliant on just me… I’ll be adjacent.”
