KevOnStage is back with more laughs, this time trading the pews for patients. Fresh off the success of Churchy Season 2, the comedian and digital star has released the trailer for his latest project, The Hospital.
The four-episode limited series premieres Wednesday, September 10, at 11/10c on BET, with two episodes airing each night and the finale wrapping on September 17.
Billed as a satirical sketch comedy, The Hospital takes audiences inside the country’s most hilariously incompetent medical facility. Combining improv with social commentary, the series highlights the chaos of medical negligence while letting KevOnStage’s signature humor shine.
The cast is stacked with talent from across the comedy world, including Tony Baker, Chris “CP” Powell, D’Lai, Dinora Walcott, Quin Walters, Tahir Moore, Candice Renee, Tamra Jade, Patrick Cloud, Mel Mitchell, Jordan Conley, Loren Lott, and Jazmine Robinson.
Behind the scenes, KevOnStage and Richard A. Washington serve as creators, directors, and showrunners, with additional writing from Brandon Cormell, Roxxy Haze, and Dominic Oliver.
With Churchy and now The Hospital, KevOnStage has found a home at BET, becoming one of the platform’s most consistently funny voices.
