You’re invited to “An Affair of the Art” Auction and Cocktail Party

Celebrate creativity and two great causes at “An Affair of the Art,” an art auction and cocktail party to benefit Jerusalem House and ArtsNow on Saturday, January 21 from 7 to 10 p.m. at Atlanta Decorative Arts Center (ADAC). This unique event brings together two non-profits to help raise programmatic funds and awareness for both. Guests will have the chance to bid on works created by local artists and faculty and students from schools and colleges. There will also be on one-of-a-kind works of art created by Jerusalem House’s adult and child residents, under the direction of ArtsNow consultants, available for purchase. The evening’s emcee will be Kaedy Kiley, radio host on 97.1 The River, and revelers can enjoy tastings from local restaurants and caterers, an open bar featuring signature cocktails by Tito’s Handmade Vodka and works of art created in front of your eyes by Kent Knowles and Patrick Hanson.

Jerusalem House is Atlanta’s oldest and largest provider of permanent supportive housing for homeless and low-income men, women and children affected by HIV/AIDS. ArtsNow is a nationally recognized provider of professional learning and resources for educators to bring the arts and creativity into daily classroom instruction.
