W.E.N Presented Barack Obama’s Lifetime Achievement Award Exclusive Luncheon

On Saturday, April 29th, The Women’s Empowerment Network, founded by entrepreneur, fashion designer, and star of Bravo’s “Married To Medicine”, Lisa Nicole Cloud, presented The President Barack Obama’s Lifetime Achievement Awards during a private luncheon at The Intercontinental Hotel in Buckhead.

The keynote speaker was none other than billionaire entrepreneur, Dr. Michael V. Roberts. Guests experienced an elegant afternoon of fine dining, inspiration, and networking with some of the most powerful business owners, politicians, and leaders in the nation. Guests also enjoyed assorted desserts from the events official dessert sponsor, Jaxons Pastries. Honorees were presented with gift bags with items from sponsors including Ultimate Moroccan Argan Oil, Moni B Cosmetics, Virtue Beauty Skin Care, Spoiled Naturally, Keeping Your Dreams Alive Entertainment, and Lisa Nicole Collection.

The Women’s Empowerment Network honored 25 amazing leaders from across the nation with The President Barack Obama Lifetime Achievement Award for their exemplary volunteer services.  Each recipient has greatly impacted the community in a positive way. Honorees included:

Afemo Omilami – Actor, Humanitarian and the COO of Hosea Helps (Formerly Hosea Feed The Hungry)

Alissa R. Jones –Founder and CEO of Survivors With Voices Foundation.

Dr. Christopher Chappell – Entrepreneur, Author, Pastor and Founder of Grace Community Christian Church.

Reverend Claudia Coifed – Reverend at Holly Springs United Church of Christ.

Deanna Hamilton – Certified Life, Christian, and Business Coach

Elisabeth Omilami – Actress, CEO of Hosea Helps (Formerly Hosea Feed The Hungry) and the daughter of activist Hosea Williams and State Representative Juanita T. Williams.

Gregory Levett Sr. – Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Gregory B. Levett & Sons Funeral Homes and Director of Dekalb Regional Healthcare System Inc.

John Hollins, Jr. – President of the 100 Black Men of DeKalb County and Sr. Account Executive with CBS 46 TV.

Larita Rice – Author, entrepreneur, life coach, and Pastor.

Dr. Missy Johnson – Political mentor, John Maxwell Certified Coach and the CEO of Fearless Women Rock.

Dr. Myla Bennett – Board certified plastic surgeon, skin care expert, entrepreneur, and owner of Ederra Bella Plastic Surgery and Medical Spa.

Dr. Rashad Richey – The country’s youngest nationally syndicated radio personalities on News and Talk 1380 WAOK- CBS Radio and The People’s Station V-103, business owner, community advocate, gang expert/deprogrammer and serves the U.S. State Department.

Sophia White – Sophia White is an original talent and volunteer. She has been a volunteer with the Sickle Cell Foundation for over 20 years.
