Jussie Smollett, LaTavia Roberson and More Attend 7th Annual Gentleman’s Ball

This past weekend, Juan and Gee Smalls, founders of The Gentleman’s Foundation hosted their 7th Annual Gentleman’s Ball in Atlanta, Ga. The annual event is a black-tie fundraiser and award show gala which not only celebrates the accomplishments of black LGBTQ people who have contributed to improving the lives of others, but also those who use their platform to support those of the LGBTQ community. All proceeds from this event go to the Gentleman’s Foundations program to assist in education and community empowerment. This year’s red carpet was hosted by social media and YouTube sensations Funky Dineva and TS Madison who interviewed such special guests as LaTavia Roberson (Destiny’s Child/R&B Divas), Angelica Ross (Pose on FX), Terrell Carter (Singer/Actor), Antonio Brown (Philanthropist/Designer) and so many more.

This year’s award winners included; Actor/Musician, Jussie Smollett, and Black Lives Matter Co-Founder, Alicia Garza. Other Honorees include Pamela Stewart (VP, Coca-Cola), Kylar Broadus, Esq. (Sr. Public Counsel), Simone Bell (So. Reg. Dir., Lambda Legal), Stacey Abrams (GA Governor Candidate), Jensen Atwood (Actor ), Queen Sheba (Poet), Micky Bee (Activist), Guy Anthony (HIV/AIDS Activist), Joe “Miss Sophia” Taylor (Comedian), James Earl Hardy (Actor), Deondray & Quincy Gossett (Film Makers), and Dr. Cleo Manago (Activist).
