Black, Gifted & Whole’s 3rd Annual Scholarship Fundraiser

This past weekend, Black, Gifted & Whole hosted their 3rd Annual Scholarship Fundraiser in Brooklyn. Hosted by Twiggy Pucci Garcon, Ballroom Consultant on POSE FX, this year’s reception was held at the Weeksville Heritage Center a multidisciplinary museum dedicated to preserving the history of the 19th century African American community of Weeksville, Brooklyn – one of America’s many free black communities.

The “Black N’ Blanc” affair celebrated the brilliance birthed within our resilient community of Black Gay men. “Black N’ Blanc” gathered community influencers, advocates, and activists for an evening of conversation, camaraderie, and celebration.

Funds raised will directly support our 2018-2019 Ambassador cohort! This year’s honorees will be, Sean Anthony Torrington (Founder/Creator Slay TV), Tarell Alvin McCraney (Playwright/actor Moonlight), Gabriel Maldonado (Founder/CEO/Activist TruEvolution).
