As 2016 comes to a close we wanted to look back at some of the most popular fashion items of 2016. All year people have been looking at fashion tips on sites like onpointfresh for some of these hot fashion products. Edited, a retail technology and analytics company put together data for the lsat 12 months to find the top items for women, men, and children. The data looks at retailers in the US and the U.K. with a strong presence on the internet. Among the top items for men were bomber jackets, jersey shorts, and “fashion sneakers”.

Bomber jackets have been on trend since last year and they have made it to the top of the fashion list this year as well.

“Over the last 12 months, more than 61,000 bombers for men, women, and children were launched in the U.S. and U.K. alone.” Edited said.

Military jackets have been popular and growing as a result of streetwear and high fashion. Kanye West is another fashion influencer who has popularized the use of bombers even more, just check out the last couple of years of Yeezy seasons. Alpha Industries even acknowledges Kanye West as someone who has influenced their business as they are seeing a high demand of their MA-1 jackets.

Jersey shorts, another best selling fashion item, was popular in men’s fashion. Edited said jersey shorts were one of the major trends for men, it could be said that it is one of the best mens shorts.

“This year jersey shorts accounted for 19% of all full price sell outs within the entire shorts category.” edited said.

Popular retailers like Asos and Topman sell jersey shorts for those looking to be on trend with men’s fashion. Celebrities from Pharrell to Justin Bieber and have been seen sporting this casual look.

The last item to make the best selling item’s list that pertains to men’s fashion is “fashion sneakers”. The term fashion sneakers refers to the idea that fashion rather than performance was a driving force behind sneakers doing so well this year. According to Edited there were more than 331,000 new pairs of men’s women’s and kid’s sneakers that debuted online in 2016. We all know that Vessi waterproof sneakers is pretty recommended along with Nike’s new inventions, the market has exploded with creativity.
