Anticipation of Yeezy Season 4

Kanye West is the king of surprises so when he announced a casting call summoning multiracial women only for his Yeezy Season 4, it didn’t come as a shock. The requirements for the casting call also requested that models wear no makeup and “come as you are”. The casting call took place at Jack Studios in New York City.

How he plans to execute the fashion show and why he only wanted multiracial women will soon be revealed as the Yeezy Season 4 makes its debut any minute now.

Yeezy Season 4 has a tough act to follow considering that Season 3 was turned into a fashion show and an album release. Last February Yeezy Season 3 debuted to an audience of 20,000 at Madison Square Garden. Many fashion heavy hitters were in the building as the Life Of Pablo provided the soundtrack for the fashion show. Fashion editors Anna Wintour and Carine Roitfield were in attendance along with models Naomi Campbell, Veronica Webb, Alek Wek, and Gigi and Bella Hadid

Hundreds of models filled the arena wearing the muted colors that we have grown accustomed to from previous Yeezy season collections. In season 3 we did get brighter colors including yellow, red, and orange.

Some of the highlights of Yeezy season 3 included a glimpse into the evolution of then Adidas Yeezy program, the edited Yeezy BOOST 350, and the brand new Yeezy BOOST 1050 Boot.

In the months following Yeezy season 3 West has secured a more widespread deal with Adidas. This could manifest in the form of more products including accessories, shoes, and bags.

As far as Yeezy season 4 West told Vogue magazine that this lates collection was inspired by Calabasas, his place of residence. He also said he wanted to continue the military style theme within the collections.

Yeezy Season 4 made its debut today starting at 3 pm EDT. It was exclusively streamed using Tidal. We can’t wait to see what Mr. West has up his sleeve.
