The family and friends of Stephen “tWitch” Boss are speaking out against his widow, Allison Holker, following her recent interview with People magazine.

In the interview, Holker opened up about her late husband’s struggles, including allegations of drug addiction and past trauma, which she detailed in her forthcoming memoir, This Far.

Holker claimed she discovered a “cornucopia” of drugs hidden in Boss’ belongings after his tragic death in December 2022.

She explained her decision to share this information publicly was driven by a desire to help others facing similar struggles. However, her revelations have sparked backlash, with Boss’ family and close friends accusing her of tarnishing his legacy and exploiting his story for profit.

Elle, one of Boss’ cousins, took to social media to defend her late relative.

“He wasn’t an addict. He smoked weed and was actively trying to quit. He wasn’t some junkie,” she posted on X. Elle also alleged that Holker will not allow Boss’s family to see his children.

Elle further claimed that Holker required family members, including Boss’ mother, to sign non-disclosure agreements just to attend his funeral. “She’s been trying to tarnish his legacy and refuses to let the Boss family see the children,” Elle wrote, accusing Holker of exploiting her cousin’s death.

Courtney Ann Platt, a close friend of Boss, echoed these sentiments in a scathing Instagram post. Platt criticized Holker for publishing what she called a “smear campaign” and for sharing pages from Boss’ personal journals in her memoir. “This is by far the most tacky, classless, opportunistic act I have ever seen in my entire life,” Platt wrote.

Platt also alleged that Holker dropped Boss’ last name from her social media just days after his passing and accused her of focusing on financial gain over preserving his memory. “Shame on you, Allison. Shame on your money-hungry team. Let my friend rest in peace…,” Platt concluded.
