'The New Biz on the Block' Open on Main Street in Historic College Park

Coined "The New Biz on the Block", three new businesses, The Bodega, The Collab, and Milk and Cookies recently opened their doors on Atlanta's southside in the historic neighborhood of College Park.

Founded by mother and son duo Monique Rose and Jaemin Miquel, these new businesses work in tandem but have created identities of their own. The trio is located on Main street in College Park, one of Atlanta's newest business districts that focus on implementing a centered approach for community-driven, preservation-based, economic development.

"Main Street is a part of a pivotal movement in Atlanta as a historic area on the rise. We run the new businesses with the same energy, to honor the history of College Park and support the push forward for and as a BIPOC-owned and led community, serving and celebrating BIPOC creatives, the love of delicious food, and good experiences,” said Monique Rose.

The Collab is a creative playground that features two recording studios, a podcast studio, and a brand image consulting firm.

Milk and Cookies is an exotic snack shop that features different snacks from around the world, which include rare and limited snacks.

The Bodega is a nod to New York’s famous bodegas known for its cold hoagies and hot subs. The "Home of Waffle Pops" offers delicious sandwiches and extreme milkshakes while providing guests with good music and good vibes!

The Collab is a membership-only content creation studio that offers artists and creators a place to create quality sounds and content. The creative playground has rooms for recording music and podcast, content creation and artist performances.

You can find the business trio at 1880 Harvard Ave College Park, GA 30337.
