Meet Kase, the New Jersey Rapper Building His Legacy His Way

When it comes to music, aiming to be the best artist you can be is important. From your brand, your look, and most importantly your craft, making sure that you set the bar high is always the goal. When you have someone who not only cares about his craft but his community as well, you have someone like Kase.

Kase is an up-and-coming artist who shows that he cares more than just being a great artist. He cares about giving back, making a statement and showing what it means to truly stick to the main goal. In his words, he is the vessel and the goal he has is all the motivation he needs. Learn more about the New Jersey native in our recent interview.

You are a man of many talents such as rapping, singing, songwriting, public speaking and many more. Tell me how it feels to juggle it all and what advice you give others juggling several titles like yourself.

It's not easy wearing many hats and juggling so many titles. I believe that when you're doing what you are here on earth to do, then you embody every hat that you wear. So, the hardest part is time management and just making sure I have a clear mind to do them efficiently.

Where do you draw your inspiration from when creating music?

Something above me is helping me create. I am just a vessel. So, nothing motivates me outside of my purpose. The goal is so big that the goal itself is the motivation.

Tell me more about your Apply Pressure clothing line and what's the inspiration behind the style.

Apply Pressure is a company that three of my close friends and myself created. The premise behind the name is that we come from nothing and all we knew is to "apply pressure" and continue pushing our limits. So, the brand is a statement and more about lifestyle choice than anything else.

What do you feel defines a true gentleman? How do you portray that in your daily life?

A true gentleman is honest with himself and others but also empathizes with people who have different upbringings and opportunities. You read the room differently and deal with situations accordingly. So daily, I try to live by those rules and live without making everything about me. People need help, advice and love. There is a lack of people who think about others so I try to be the balance and offset that.

What does it mean to you to give back to your community?

Giving back to my community is one of the most important things that I can do. It's important because people need to see that there are still good people in the world. People need to see that people still care, so I try my best to embody that and be the change that I want to see.
