How This KFC Proposal Turned Into an Elegant Wedding

According to the New York Post in a South African KFC, Hector Kansi proposed to his now-wife, Nonhlanhla, and was unknowingly being filmed through a window of the chain restaurant. Now the video of this tender moment has gone viral and the couple is overwhelmed by the generous strangers offering to help make their dream wedding possible.

The chain shared the charming video on Twitter in hopes of identifying the couple. Kansi and his betrothed were soon recognized and a request made on their behalf went viral.

A friend of Kansi tweeted about how Mr. Kansi was on a tight budget, and he planned to manage their ceremony.

Numerous companies and strangers facilitated a massive outpour of offers. The deserving couple’s offerings ranged from free flights and five nights of accommodations to traditional handmade garbs for the big day.
