Hulu has officially released the first-look images for Reasonable Doubt Season 4, offering fans a glimpse into the high-stakes legal battles and complicated relationships awaiting Jacqueline “Jax” Stewart. While the photos tease what is to come, they wisely keep the answers to last season’s biggest questions strictly under wraps.

Season 4 will pick up the pieces following the explosive Season 3 cliffhanger. Viewers will remember that the previous season closed out with a brutal attack that left Jax’s family and her newly established practice, The Stewart Firm, deeply shaken.

As the team attempts to navigate the emotional and professional fallout of that violence, a little peace and quiet is not in the cards. The new season thrusts the vulnerable firm right back into the fire when one of their most loyal clients becomes the center of a rapidly growing media firestorm. Emayatzy Corinealdi returns as Jax, leading a cast of series regulars that also includes McKinley Freeman, Tim Jo, and Angela Grovey, all reprising their roles from previous seasons.

R&B singer Tank joins the cast as Eric Cropper, a wealthy and powerful music artist with longstanding ties to the firm. Eric is bringing a heavy dose of baggage and family drama with him. La La Anthony joins as Melina Cropper, his first wife, while Taylor Polidore Williams steps in as Brooke Cropper, his calculating second wife who is gearing up for a heated divorce battle. DeVaughn Nixon rounds out the turbulent Cropper family tree as Eric’s younger brother and A&R manager, Tyger Cropper. Meagan Good has also joined the cast as a new series regular, stepping into the role of Regina Harris, the city’s newly appointed district attorney.

The drama surrounding Eric’s career and personal life will be further amplified by Rutina Wesley, who will appear as entertainment journalist Desiree Grant, and Alexxis Lemire, who plays Layla Love, an artist signed to Eric’s record label.

The first-look rollout also confirms the return of a very familiar face: Morris Chestnut is back as Corey Cash. He returns as a recurring guest star for Season 4 alongside Joseph Sikora and Brandee Evans, tethering this new chapter to the intense legal and personal drama viewers have already watched unfold.

Season 4 premieres October 6 on Hulu with three episodes, followed by new episodes every Tuesday.
