Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson is officially taking a nine-figure bite out of the Big Apple. The hip-hop mogul and television executive has announced a massive new $100 million partnership with Planet Hollywood founder Robert Earl to launch “PH Live,” a next-generation entertainment hub set to take over the brand’s iconic flagship location in Times Square.
Designed to be a full-blown celebrity magnet, PH Live is being pitched as the ultimate hybrid space, part premium nightclub, part concert hall, and part immersive dining experience. The venue will boast state-of-the-art LED technology capable of transforming the room to perfectly match any vibe, whether it’s a surprise pop-up concert, an exclusive film premiere, or a high-end private celebration.
“Planet Hollywood has always been connected to pop culture, and PH Live takes that energy to the next level—a place where music, film, sports and nightlife collide,” Jackson shared regarding the ambitious venture.
50 is making sure his personal touch is felt throughout the dining menu. The upscale venue will serve a curated selection of his favorite dishes, including sweet chili shrimp, sliced steak paired with macaroni and cheese, and a signature burger featuring a highly guarded secret sauce.
To fully immerse guests in his sprawling entertainment universe, the space will also feature a display of personal memorabilia and dynamic visual installations highlighting standout moments from his extensive film and television career.
This power play serves as a natural progression of 50 Cent’s booming relationship with the Planet Hollywood brand. The new NYC flagship builds on his Las Vegas residency at the PH Live theater and his successful Sire Spirits ventures.
According to reports, this Times Square location might just be the beginning, with plans already being discussed to expand the PH Live concept into other cities, including Shreveport, Louisiana, where the rap legend recently established his sprawling G-Unit Studios production hub.
