The next Colleen Hoover adaptation is on its way, and this time, it’s led by Justin Tipping’s HIM breakout star Tyriq Withers and Longlegs’ star Maika Monroe.
Universal Pictures’ Reminders of Him, directed by Vanessa Caswill (Love at First Sight), is set to bring Hoover’s bestselling novel to life when it hits theaters on March 13, 2026.
The romantic drama stars Kenna (Monroe), a woman struggling to rebuild her life after serving time for a tragic mistake. Returning to her Wyoming hometown in hopes of reuniting with her young daughter, Kenna finds unexpected love with Ledger (Withers), a former NFL player turned small-town bar owner. Their connection becomes a lifeline for both, but it also risks unraveling the fragile peace she’s trying to rebuild.

In the film, Nicholas Duvernay (White Lotus) plays one of Ledger’s close friends and bar staff members. The cast also includes Lauren Graham and Bradley Whitford as Kenna’s in-laws, Rudy Pankow as Diem’s father, and country star Lainey Wilson as Kenna’s friend Amy. The film was co-written by Hoover herself alongside Lauren Levine.
