Parajumpers S/S 2020 Collection is Here

Outerwear is no longer a wardrobe staple solely for the colder months. Created by creative director Massimo Rossetti, Parajumpers’ Spring/Summer 2020 collection is an elevated take on sportswear for the adventurous, modern man all year round.

In fact, the brand was inspired by a meeting with Rossetti and a serving member of the 210th Rescue Squadron. The PJs – short for PARAJUMPERS – are highly trained for extreme rescues and recoveries in the wildest, most remote and hostile corners of the Globe. Whether it be ships adrift at sea, rock-climbers stuck atop a 4,000-meter peak, or submariners sunk at unimaginable depths, these men are called to intervene. Tough and courageous, they are better trained than any other military corps, but most important, they use their skills and techniques to save lives. Their motto is ‘That Others May Live.’

Parajumpers’ Spring/Summer 2020 collection sees the reinterpretation of favorite designs including the iconic MASTERPIECE, the timeless WINDBREAKER, and the ALL-WEATHER pieces, made for diverse climatic conditions, which have been enhanced in both fabric and detail. This year’s cotton is very light and impalpable, and the nylon is softer and gentler to the touch.

The EXTRA LIGHT series is a new addition to the down jacket category, which adds an iconic and practical cargo pocket to the basic frame, without sacrificing its unbeatable lightness.

Collaborating Japanese designer Yoshinori Ono continues the technical undertones of his designs, bringing the LIGHT THERMAL for Spring/Summer 2020. Characterized by an extremely light stretch exterior fabric and lined with soft padded quilt on the inside, it’s an essential first barrier of protection against the wind and cooler spring temperatures, with an exceptional fit and incredible comfort.

Parajumpers’ collaboration with Italian designer Leonardo Fasolo continues with the development of classic military-inspired designs, often enriched with earthy and light tones characteristic of garment-dyed color techniques.

Yet again Parajumpers challenges the traditional codes of luxury outerwear, transforming exceptional technical innovation into high-level garments for those looking for both style and excellent quality.
