Netflix Wins Bid To Produce New Will Smith Film
Reports have come in from Deadline.com that Netflix has won the bidding war with Warner Bros to acquire Bright, a new movie starring Will Smith.
This 90 million deal will be Netflix’s largest movie deal to date. Production is reportedly supposed to begin in the Fall.
What’s interesting about this deal is that the movie probably won’t make it to theatres which means that the actors will not get a percentage of movie sales. Netflix service will be paying the actors upfront!
