Larenz Tate and Erica Ash Hosts Trumpet Awards

This past weekend, Atlanta was home to the 26th Annual Trumpet Awards that airs February 11 on.Bounce TV. The celebration of everything great in the African American community had a star-studded lineup. Without the vision of Xernona Clayton, such an amazing evening would not have been possible. Hosted by Film and TV Stars Larenz Tate and Erica Ash, Guests and Honorees enjoyed an amazing evening while celebrating individuals who have lead the way and achieved great things. Honorees included ” The Mayor Of Atlanta” Jermaine Dupri who was presented his award by Keisha Lance-Bottoms, Official Mayor of Atlanta. Dupri was serenaded by Xscape, Bow Wow, Anthony Hamilton and Ludacris, all artists that he helped to mold the careers of. The Legendary group Cameo, Richelieu Dennis, Activist Tamika Mallory, Marley Dias, Dr. Lonnie Johnson and Rhyon Brown were all recipients of 2018 Trumpet Awards.

Special Guests included  Clifton Powell, Vaness Bell Calloway, Jasmine Burke, Dawn Halfkenny, Keith Richards and Trey Chaney; The Cast Of Bounce TV’s  Saints and Sinners, Xscape, Trina Braxton, Evelyn Braxton ( Braxton Family Values), Cee Lo Green, Omar Gooding and Angell ConwellDondira Nicole, Bluff City, Sir The Baptist, Demetria Mckinney and Ed Gordon who hosted the Bounce Tv Lounge.
