Jordan Peele Putting “Serious” Consideration Into ‘Get Out’ Sequel

Looks like dropping a surprise blockbuster of 2017 and garnering four Oscar nominations has Jordan Peele pondering a Get Out sequel. During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, at their 5th annual Nominees Night party in Beverly Hills, Peele spoke about the possibility of a follow-up to his “woke horror film.”

“I love that universe and I feel like there is more story to tell. I don’t know what it is now, but there are some loose ends,” said Peele about a potential sequel.

With critical acclaim for its depiction of race relations in this country, Get Out’s premise is an unlikely addition to the horror and thriller movie genres. But Peele saw different, and audiences agreed, as the movie made $255 million on just a budget of $4.5 million.
