Author and “L.A. Hair” Star Gocha Hawkins Celebrates Book Launch

Last week, celebrity hairstylist and now author, Gocha Hawkins, celebrated the launch of her new book Gocha’s Blueprint to Business 101 at her midtown Gocha Salon in Atlanta. Various entrepreneurs, stylists and aspiring business owners came out to learn from Gocha’s 20 years experience in the beauty business and to pick up a few tips from finance expert Jini Davis Thornton, CPA and certified business life coach Kenny Pugh.

Guests sipped Redd’s Apple Ale and MosKato while listening to the distinguished panel discuss everything from why salons fail to finding seed money. Copies of Gocha’s Blueprint to Business 101 were on sale and sold out by the end of the night. The event concluded with a screening of the latest episode of “L.A. Hair,” which featured Gocha in an all-out hair battle with stylist Kim Kimble.
