Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson is bringing his storytelling chops to the world of true crime. The rapper, producer, and entrepreneur will host and executive produce 50 Ways to Catch a Killer, a new six-part investigative series debuting on FOX Nation Tuesday, September 16.
The series, produced by Jackson’s G-Unit Film & Television in partnership with Lionsgate Alternative Television, takes viewers inside real-life murder investigations, offering unprecedented access to the detectives, evidence, and pivotal breakthroughs that ultimately lead to justice.
Two episodes will drop on premiere day, with new episodes released weekly through the end of the month.
Each hour-long episode dissects a single case, tracing the step-by-step process investigators used to catch the perpetrator. From cutting-edge forensics to old-school detective work, the series highlights the different tactics, tools, and moments of ingenuity that transform unsolved cases into convictions.
Jackson, who personally selected the cases, guides viewers through each story, introducing the victims, investigators, and suspects while narrating the twists and turns that lead to resolution.
“True crime is powerful because it’s real cases, real people, and real justice,” Jackson said. “With this series, I want viewers to experience the intensity of these investigations and the relentless work it takes to uncover the truth. We’re bringing these stories to life in a way that’s both gripping and authentic.”
The first episode, Fake ’em Out, explores the mysterious disappearance of Maryland teacher Laura Wallen, whose case stalled until detectives launched an unconventional strategy to bring the truth to light. Other episodes include the disturbing story of missing mother Joleen Cummings (Untangle the Lies), a brutal home invasion in Connecticut (Step Back), and a chilling family massacre in California cracked open by forensic entomology (Hit the Road).
By the finale, Never Give Up, viewers will see how persistence uncovered the shocking truth behind Mike Williams’ disappearance during a Florida duck hunt, once thought to be an alligator attack, later revealed to be something far darker.
Jackson is becoming a powerhouse in television and film. His company, G-Unit Film & Television, has produced major hits like Power, BMF, and For Life, as well as podcasts and unscripted programming. With 50 Ways to Catch a Killer, he extends his reach into true crime, a genre that continues to captivate audiences across streaming platforms.
Jason Klarman, FOX News Media’s Chief Digital & Marketing Officer, called the partnership a natural fit. “With his cultural influence and talent for storytelling, [50 Cent] offers a front-row seat to the dogged investigations that lead to justice.”
50 Ways to Catch a Killer premieres September 16 on FOX Nation, with two episodes streaming immediately and new installments each week through the end of September.
