Hulu’s Reasonable Doubt is back this fall, and the stakes and star power are higher than ever. The critically acclaimed legal drama, led by Emayatzy Corinealdi as high-powered Los Angeles defense attorney Jacqueline “Jax” Stewart, will return for Season 3 on September 18 with a double-episode premiere, followed by new episodes every Thursday.
This season, the Onyx Collective series adds some serious heat both in front of and behind the bench.
Lori Harvey Joins the Cast
Model and actress Lori Harvey will make her debut as Chelsea, an “unpredictable force with a troubled past” whose reappearance threatens to shake Jax’s world in unexpected ways. While Hulu is keeping the full details of her storyline under wraps, Chelsea’s character is set to bring new drama and intensity to Jax’s already complex personal and professional life.
Joseph Sikora Levels Up
As previously announced, Joseph Sikora joins Season 3 as a series regular, playing Bill Sterling, a latecomer to the legal profession after a decade in the Coast Guard. Now climbing the ranks at Binder, Hurwitz & Stewart, Bill’s career ambitions hinge on working closely with Jax, setting the stage for both collaboration and inevitable tension.
Morris Chestnut Returns
Fan favorite Morris Chestnut, who made his Reasonable Doubt debut as a series regular in Season 2, will return in a recurring role this season. He reprises his role as Corey Cash, the smooth-talking, media-savvy defense attorney whose charm often masks his true intentions.
Last season, Jax (Corinealdi) brought Corey in to assist with a high-profile case, only to discover that beneath the polish, he was more flash than substance, and potentially a threat to her standing at the firm.
A New Case, Familiar Chaos
This season picks up after Jax has survived a whirlwind year, saving her best friend from a life sentence while healing from a dangerous affair. Life has settled down… maybe too much. But when former child star Ozzie (Kyle Bary) comes to her with a high-profile legal mess, Jax jumps at the chance to get back into the action.
What starts as a career-boosting case quickly turns into something far more dangerous, with Ozzie’s private life carrying all the chaos of a Hollywood scandal. At the same time, Jax’s own future at her firm is put in jeopardy by a charismatic new associate, testing whether she can protect both her client and the hard-won stability in her life.
A Stacked Ensemble
Alongside Corinealdi, Sikora, Harvey, and Chestnut, Season 3 features returning cast members McKinley Freeman, Tim Jo, Victor Rasuk, and Angela Grovey. Recurring guest stars include Rumer Willis, Brandee Evans, Richard Brooks, April Parker Jones, Keith Arthur Bolden, and Arkeisha “Kash Doll” Knight.
Season 3 of Reasonable Doubt premieres September 18, with the first two episodes streaming on Hulu.
