The 3rd annual Atlanta Black Expo is set to take over the Georgia World Congress Center on February 22-23, bringing together over 200 thriving Black-owned businesses, nonprofits, and community organizations in what has become the largest non-industry-specific Black business showcase in the Southeast.
The two-day event is expected to draw over 3,000 attendees, reinforcing Atlanta’s reputation as a hub for Black entrepreneurship, culture, and innovation.
Founded by Corey “NetworKing” Moore—the mastermind behind ProNetworker, TasteUrban, Urban Atlanta, and Women Who Network—the Atlanta Black Expo was relaunched in 2023 with a clear vision: to provide a centralized space where Black-owned businesses could connect with consumers and elevate their brands.
“The Atlanta Black Expo is a unique platform for supporting and celebrating local Black-owned businesses,” said Moore. “We recognized a need for an immersive experience that not only showcases these businesses but also highlights the richness of Black culture. Every year, we grow, attracting more attendees and more businesses that want to be a part of what we’re doing.”
The Atlanta Black Expo is more than just a trade show—it’s a cultural experience designed to empower, educate, and entertain. The two-day event includes:
- VIP Reception (Saturday, February 22) – A special kick-off event for VIP ticket holders, sponsors, and partners featuring an exclusive food and beverage tasting, opening ceremonies, and a thrilling culinary competition.
- Black Business Marketplace (Sunday, February 23) – Attendees can explore over 200 Black-owned businesses and exhibitors, offering everything from fashion and beauty products to financial services and tech innovations.
- Workshops & Networking – Industry experts and business leaders will host over 25 workshops and panels, offering valuable insights on entrepreneurship, branding, and economic empowerment.
- Kids Business Expo – A dedicated space for young entrepreneurs to showcase their businesses and inspire the next generation of leaders.
- Fashion Show – A celebration of Black designers, models, and style influencers, featuring the latest in fashion and beauty.
- Speed Networking – A fast-paced, interactive session designed to foster new business connections and opportunities.
- The Black Art Expo – Curated exhibit will showcase captivating Black art and culture, highlighting both emerging and established artists.
- International Black Business Expo – This section of the event will expand the Expo’s reach beyond the U.S., fostering connections between local and international Black business communities.
This year the Atlanta Black Expo moves to the Georgia World Congress Center, its largest venue to date.
“We’re still a new event but we’re also a growing event. Every year, we get more attendees and more businesses that want to be a part of what we’re doing. And we continue to exceed even my expectations,” Moore said.
