The line includes streetwear staples such as hoodies, crewneck sweatshirts, jogger sweatpants, and t-shirts, with prices ranging from $9.98 to $21.98. Designed for all ages, the collection also features kid-sized pieces.

To bring the essence of the collection to life, Anwar conceptualized and directed a heartwarming mini-documentary filmed on a farm in Goleta, California. The short film features Anwar alongside his wife and their four children, giving audiences an intimate look at the Carrots family lifestyle.

In the documentary, Anwar talks about his creative process and the hidden personal touches within the collection, such as carrot-inspired designs and initials of his children—Rafi, Naz, Zari, and Gia—woven into the pieces.

“I grew up on Walmart. I’m a Walmart baby,” Anwar said in the documentary. “We’re talking about the biggest of the biggest, honing in on normal people and helping them eat and live a better life. When it comes to accessibility and fashion, I look at more affordability as a better word. I want you to be able to afford it.”

He also offers advice for aspiring creators, saying, “When it comes to opportunities that you get, I don’t care what it is, just say yes. And make the best of it. I just appreciate a good ‘from nothing to something’ story. You can’t take that away from anything.”

He also offers advice for aspiring creators:

The “Homegrown” collection is more than just a fashion line; it’s a movement that bridges personal values and universal themes.

The line’s launch in 1,000 Walmart locations ensures that the collection reaches a wide audience.
