Philadelphia Eagles star wide receiver DeVonta Smith had a New Year’s Eve to remember, proposing to his girlfriend, Mya Danielle, before the clock struck 12.
Danielle shared the news on Instagram, posting photos of the proposal and her new engagement ring.
“Went on a ROCK climbing adventure with my forever tonight 🥹💍🤍🥂,” Danielle captioned her post.
Smith and Danielle have been in the public eye since going Instagram official in June 2023. At the time, they announced they were expecting their first child.
“To our unborn, you were made with so much love. We’re so thankful God blessed us to be your parents. You have so much love for you already it’s indescribable. We know the journey will not be easy, but it’ll be an amazing story to tell. Mommie and DaDa cannot wait to meet you. See you soon, baby girl🤍.”
Their daughter, Kyse Danielle, was born in October 2023. Last month, the couple shared another exciting update—they are expecting their second child.
Smith’s engagement comes during an exceptional season for the Eagles. Fresh off a dominant 41-7 win against the Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia has secured a 13-3 record and the No. 2 seed in the NFC playoffs. With one regular-season game remaining against the New York Giants, the team is gearing up for another strong playoff run.
In 13 games this season, the former Heisman Trophy winner has recorded 68 receptions for 833 yards and eight touchdowns, cementing his reputation as one of the NFL’s top wide receiver duos alongside A.J. Brown.
