Valentine's Day Drinks Sure to Add Spice to Your Night

The national day for lovers is just around the corner. We know many enjoy making reservations at their favorite restaurant while others enjoy a nice quiet evening home with a meal that was prepared with care by the one they love or like, depending on where you are in your relationship. What goes great with a great dinner? An even greater cocktail would be the answer. Check out some of the sexiest drinks that are bound to add some extra oomph to your Valentine's Day.



White Haute Chocolate


Ingredients

  • 1 part Glenfiddich 14

  • 1 pinch sea salt

  • 8 parts milk

  • 8 parts white chocolate

  • Star anise (for garnish)

Method

  1. Heat milk and white chocolate in a pot until melted.

  2. Add a pinch of sea salt.

  3. Pour into mug + add Glenfiddich 14.

  4. Garnish with star anise.

L’OR Espresso Mocktini


Ingredients

  • 1 shot L'OR espresso of your favorite blend

  • 1 tbsp. chocolate syrup

  • 4 oz. half & half

  • ¼ cup ice

  • Unsweetened cocoa powder and edible gold flakes (optional)

Method


  1. Brew espresso into a cup with chocolate syrup. Stir to mix.

  2. Pour ice into a cocktail shaker along with espresso and half & half.

  3. Seal and shake, shake, shake! Ice will melt, no straining necessary.

  4. Pour into a martini glass, dust with cocoa, top with edible gold flakes, and serve!

BACARDÍ Old Cuban



Ingredients

  • 2½ oz. Martini & Rossi® Prosecco

  • 4 mint leaves

  • 1 oz. simple syrup

  • 1 oz. lime juice

  • 2 dashes of bitters

Method

  1. Combine all the ingredients (except prosecco) in a cocktail shaker with ice.

  2. Shake vigorously.

  3. Double strain, and top with prosecco.

  4. Garnish with a mint leaf float.

BACARDÍ Darling Daquiri



Ingredients

  • 1 ½ oz. BACARDÍ Superior Rum

  • ¾ oz. lime juice

  • ½ oz. Martini & Rossi® Fiero

  • ½ oz. grapefruit juice

  • ¼ oz. Maraschino liqueur

  • Lime wheel as garnish

Method

  1. Combine all ingredients into a mixing tin.

  2. Add ice and shake.

  3. Strain into a coupe and garnish with a lime wheel.
