Law Roach, stylist to the stars, has joined fashion brand ASOS as its first-ever Stylist in Residence, recently announced as the Project Runway judge brings his distinctive creative vision to campaigns and cultural storytelling.
The new role will see the acclaimed Image Architect work closely with the brand to help shape its fashion point of view through styling. The partnership launches this fall, beginning in September 2026, with Roach’s creative work for ASOS rolling out across campaigns, styling content, and cultural storytelling. As part of the rollout, Roach will style six covers for the relaunch issue of ASOS Magazine.
Regarded as one of the defining stylists of his generation, Roach has changed the role of what it means to be a stylist within contemporary culture. His work with some of the world’s most recognized talent, including Zendaya, Ariana Grande, and Celine Dion, has made him one of fashion’s most influential creative voices. Roach is also the first-ever recipient of the CFDA’s Stylist Award, and The Hollywood Reporter has recognized him as one of Hollywood’s most powerful stylists.

“I’ve always been fascinated by the power of fashion to transform how people see themselves and how they show up in the world,” the Chicago native said about his partnership. “What excites me about ASOS is the opportunity to help more people discover their own point of view through style.
The Law Roach Effect
Roach opened his high-concept vintage store in Chicago in 2009 after studying psychology. A chance visit from Kanye West to his shop brought national attention and early celebrity clientele to his business. The legendary judge started styling a 14-year-old Zendaya in 2011, when she was a Disney Channel star, and together, they systematically transformed her image from a young TV star into a global fashion powerhouse through strategic red-carpet moments and method dressing.
“Law is one of the most influential creative voices in fashion today. What makes him exceptional is his ability to use style to build confidence, tell stories, and shape culture,” said Vanessa Spence, EVP Brand and Creative at ASOS, about the collaboration. “Law’s extraordinary eye, as well as his creative instinct and deep understanding of fashion culture, will help us bring even more inspiration and confidence to our customers.”
The retailer said the appointment is an important expression of its role as “The Stylist,” helping customers discover what works for them. This follows research commissioned by ASOS that found two-thirds of consumers find knowing what to buy easier than knowing how to wear it.
