The streets of Los Angeles have a new kind of predator.

In Night Patrol, director Ryan Prows steps into the supernatural horror genre, mixing police corruption, street justice, and bloodlust.

The story follows Jermaine Fowler as an LAPD officer forced to confront his past and his city’s darkest secrets when he discovers that a special police task force is harboring something far worse than corruption: vampires. To protect the residents of the housing projects he grew up in, he must forge an uneasy alliance with a local gang.

The film stars Justin Long, RJ Cyler, Freddie Gibbs, CM Punk, YG, Flying Lotus, Dermot Mulroney, Jon Oswald, and Nicki Micheaux.

It’s Training Day meets Blade. What makes the film intriguing is how it reflects real-world themes: policing, systemic distrust, and community resilience. Beneath the blood and bullets lies a story about legacy, identity, and the struggle to protect a neighborhood that’s been preyed on from every side.
